Basic principles of pH meters (first part)
In 1909, Anderson for the first time expressed the concept of pH in a modern and modern way and proved that the nature of enzymatic processes is strongly related to this parameter. As the position of this parameter in chemical processes became more obvious, several attempts were made to build a device to measure it in different parts of the world, until finally in 1934, Arnold Beckman presented a device based on the potentiometric method. In this article, the device principles of pH meters and the problems of pH measurement in different industries have been investigated.
